Associate Wealth Manager
Like many children of immigrants to the United States, I come from humble beginnings. My parents came to the U.S. as refugees displaced by the Vietnam War, and raised me and my siblings in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. Their main focus was on their difficult acclimation to westernized society, and as a result I grew up with limited financial awareness. The challenge this adversity provided me was undoubtedly a burden, but it empowered me throughout my academic career.
In college I majored in Finance because I wanted to study the principals and economics applied in the decision making of organizations. I also hoped to scale these parameters and apply them in my own personal and professional life. Throughout my studies I was inspired by my parents and their struggles, however, and I found myself wondering: how can I use the knowledge I’ve acquired to help others gain financial understanding? From this kernel grew my passion to aid others in making informed and effective financial decisions in order to realize their dreams.
At Echo Wealth Management (EWM), I work closely with Echo and her clients to design customized financial plans that are consistent with our clients’ values and goals. Doing this entails assisting them in taking advantage of company benefits, including using the best timing to exercise stock options and diversify company stocks. Additionally, our planning practice includes integrating business and personal finance goals by considering cash flow needs, retirement plan options, and succession planning.
Prior to joining EWM, I worked in client administration for seven years, three of which were in a financial setting. At my core, I'm passionate about planning strategy and cultivating relationships. Utilizing Echo’s holistic approach to financial planning, I look forward to serving our clients with the utmost integrity!
